[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Light snow covered parts of the ruins of Detroit as Ekket ran along on all fours. The birdman ignorant of the possible dangers of the city as his clawed hands and feet clicked across the tarmac after a set of thundering hooves. A hungry look on the superhuman's face as he chased a deer around a bend in the streets of tall crumbling buildings.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka ]
Hailey yawned as she walked through the light blanket of snow in the streets of what was the remains of the city of Detroit, fixing up her nice, fluffy coat. Snow wasn't something she had back in Australia, well, not where she lived anway. She did get to see the snow there once, however, when she was out traveling with her parents. Hailey was amazed at how oftened it snowned in America, it was different, but it was one of those things that were different that the red head actually liked. Too bad the Winter was slowly passing away now. A deer all of a sudden lept past the girl, Hailey stared at it as it ran off down the street. Weird...she had never seen any deer around here. It seemed like it was in a hurry too, she wondered why.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Bolting across the tarmac like a greyhound, a blur of feathers soon followed suit after the deer, leaving a trail of sparks behind it with it's sharp claws. The blur slipping a bit on the turn in the road, leaving a small spatter of blood as it grazed it's shoulder on the ground and continued to pelt after the deer leaving a trail of misted breath behind it as the blur soon caught up to the terrified deer, launching itself into the air to land on the deer's back.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka ]
Hailey only grew even more confused when after the dear, what looked like a quadrupedal bird monster also sped past her. The girl rubbed her eyes, just to make sure that what she was seeing was real, but there was no mistaking it, that /was/ a weird quadrupedal bird monster. Usually, any other person would be completely shocked, but upon ariving to this place, Hailey had all but given up on being shocked by any of the strange phenomonons that went on inside the resurve. She let out a long sigh and then decided to follw it. Maybe she'd see something interesting. Taking her time, the bone manipulating super slowly persued the thing.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Sailing through the air like a bullet, the hybrid collided with the running deer sending it tumbling over it's forelegs, and making both deer and monster smash into the tarmac. The blur clawing and biting at the deer with razor sharp claws and teeth as they rolled. The deer generally screaming some kind of inhumane noise the entire time, until it stopped moving, as the hybrid began to eat the deer raw.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka ]
Hailey was perplexed by the scene going on in front of her once she rounded the corner. Well, at least she knew what that deer was running from now. She'd be running too if she was in its position. The red head slowly approrched the ravenous bird thing, her hands nice and snug in the pockets of her coat. She wasn't too keen on getting very close, she didn't want to ruin her clothes. Hailey eventually stopped walking and then just watched from a distance. She wanted to know what that thing was.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Digging  into it's meal with tooth and claw, the hybrid apparently didn't even notice it's nearby audience. The creature generally making a mess, yet oddly enough it appeared to be taking care not to get any on itself except for it's face. A clawed hand coming out to wipe blood from it's face.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka ]
Hailey snickered, picking up a fair sized rock and pelting it at the creature to get it's attention. "Oi!" She put her hands on her hips. If that didn't get it's attention, she wasn't sure what would. It looked as if the thing was pretty stuck into it's food right now anyway, maybe she could just wait it out if it didn't respond to being pelted by rocks.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Turning around about a second too late, the rock sailed through the air and landed with a loud thunk and a 'clink' almost as it the rock had hit something metallic when it had hit the creature, followed by a sudden quiet "BZT!" sound as the giant bird monster simply flopped over onto the tarmac, looking kind of well.. dead.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey cocked an eyebrow, walking over to the fluffy feather lump on the ground before roughly nudging it with her foot. What was it dead? Did she really hit the thing that hard? Maybe it was sick and diseased to begin with and she had just given it the final blow. Man, nature was weird. "Shit what if its someones mutant pet?" She looked around, but it didn't look as if anyone else was here. Maybe it was edible, she didn't mind chicken.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
"Bzt.. bzt.." That noise was still coming from the creature the entire time. The fluffy lump of feathers rolling over to the side when Hailey kicked it with her foot, showing that it appeared to have a face, not a beak, but a face with a nose and eyebrows and all those human face things that people had. Though the giant sickle, clawed hands didn't really make it seem like it.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey noticed the shock collar around the thing's neck. Damn, someone didn't know how to look after their mutant birds properly, athought it wasn't a bird. Once she had rolled the thing onto it's side, she realised it had a humanistic face. What /was/ this thing? Maybe it was some kind of weird super. She had seen some shit upon living on this reserve, she could comfirm that. "Hey, are you dead?" She asked, sounding a little irritated or disinterested. "If not then you might want to stop acting dead. I bet you're still edible."

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Making a quiet, gargled cawing noise in response that sounded more like a death croak than anything else. The hybrid just twitched on the ground, obviously still getting over having a rock pelted into it's head, and getting electrocuted in the brainstem at the same time. The birdman managed to twitch a few claws as it's feathers stood up, a few zaps of static buzzing between the feathers.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey wasn't really sure what to make of this anymore so she decided that she just wasn't going to care no matter what happened now. This was a weird day, even for her. Maybe the creature was just broken. The bone manipulating super went and grabbed a small stick before going back over to the bird thing and prodding it's face as she crouched down. "Wakey wakey." She grumbled unenthusiactially as she jabbed the stick into his cheek.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Slowly, reviving after a fem minutes of poking. The birdboy managed to snap out of his paralysis after a moment as he let out a loud caw. The bird scurrying to crouch on the ground, all it's feathers standing up angrily since he didn't like the poking, plus he guessed they threw something at him before. The hybrid letting out a grumbling noise as it puffed up all fluffy like a vicious, giant, pomeranian.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey jumped back as the creature came to life. So she hadn't killed it or teribly wonded it...well, at least it seemed that way now. The poor thing was fluffier than a spooked cat. "Well well, it lives." The ginger put her hands on her hips and laughed before turning her attention back to the bird mian. "So what exactly are you aye?"

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Feathers remaining heightened, the hybrid just grumbled for a moment as it considered it's previous attacker turned questioner. The birdman frowning as his feathers remained fluffed as he slowly stood up to his full, overly rediculous height, as he let out a terrible croak. "Don't know."

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey just watched him, still looking quite unimpressed. She had delt with a lot of dangerous supers and people before, it wasn't easy to intimidate her, even with such a display. "Oh? What  shame." She replied with a yawn, still debating on weather cooking him up for dinner would count as cannibalism or not.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Deciding that he wasn't going to be attacked all of a sudden any time soon, Ekket just stood quietly with a frown as his feathers smoothed back down. The birdman generally just staring at the other superhuman as he remained completely silent in his usual oddness. Then again, it's not like there was really much to talk about.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey pretended to be uniterested for a bit before she had a little idea, not a great one or a smart one, but an idea at that. The red headed super slowly smirked before out of nowhere, jumping at the birdman with her hands outstretched and her teeth bared in a sharp snarling face. "RAH!" She growled loudly, atempting to spook Ekket.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Apparently not too phased by the attempt at spooking him Ekket apparently didn't take to kindly at Hailey's attempt at scaring him. The birdman's feathers proceeding to fluff up as he shoved his scaled arms forward to push her over. The hybrid letting out a distorted roar in their face, flashing sharp teeth in a molarless mouth.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey quickly caught onto his arm, clutching it tightly as she was almost pushed to the ground. He was strong, she'd give him that, but with her super strength powers, it wasn't exactly easy to push her to the ground. "Whoah there calm down tweety." She looked to the side as she roared at him, coughing a little. "Urgh ew! When was the last time you brushed your teeth!?"

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Backing up a bit, Ekket just scowled and spat on the tarmac with a growl, apparently not liking the other superhuman too much as he stood in confusion. The birdman flattening his feathers back down as he chilled out a bit, yeah he wasn't to in to being prodded or played with, at least from what could be seen.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey just cackle to herself, smirking at him as he backed away. It was obvious that the two weren't  good mix, since the only thing Hailey majored in would be tormenting the shit out of people. She crossed her arms. "All bark and no bite are you? What a shame...I guess you are a form of chicken though....or something like that."

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Not really reacting to that since he didn't really have any affiliation with birds, Ekket just shrugged. If anything he was shunned by birds, they wouldn't tweet at him or anything, so it's not like being called a chicken was that bad, he wasn't one to fight anyhow, he didn't like it.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
"What's the matter bird kid? Getting tired of me already?" She moved a little closer to him, almost circling the man as she tried to get a better look at what he actually was. She figured that he was probably some weird shifter, she knew shifters were inclined to do weird stuff, but this one was a little more... animalistic.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Okay, the circling made him a bit nervous, sending all of his feathers to stand up, even the little crest of feathers that blended into his hair. The birdman remaining stock still, one gold eye following the other superhuman as he grumbled out a growl. A tiny glint of metal visible if you looked close enough at the back of his neck.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey snickered as his feathers stood up again. He wasn't very good at hiding his fear...or anger, whatever it was, the guy was acting defensively. Her eyes caught onto the glint of the collar around the man's neck. What was that? "You got some special necklace around your neck or something birdboy?"

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Bristling up a bit at that, Ekket flattened down his feathers over it immediately, honestly he didn't know what it was, just that it hurt like hell, and it shouldn't be touched. Yeah, if Hailey tried to touch that broken collar she was probably going to regret it in more ways than one.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey cocked an eyebrow at the man, constantly being baffled yet intrigued by his behavior. It was a weird thing to decipher. "So what is it hmm? some kind of tracker? Maybe just a pretty birdy trinket? Get your head stuck in something?" It could be a range of things, but his reaction was obvious when she spoke about it, so Hailey was just going to keep tormenting him about it weather he liked it or not.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
"Don't know." He croaked, waddling his birdy feet back over to pick up the deer and sling it over his back to carry it easier, careful not to let the deer lean on the metal piece that sat at the back of his neck. If he was going to be tormented, they'd have to follow his stupidity to get an answer.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
"Don'tcha now? Do you know /anything/? Anything at all perhaps?" Hailey asked, almost as if she was mocking him for being dumb as she followed right behind him."I guess they just dump anyone here these days, did they even give you a checkup or anyhting or did they just kinda chuck you into the Resurve to rot like the rest of us?"

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
"Who chucked?" Ekket asked, a bit confused since he didn't really know anything except that this place was dangerous, and food was everywhere. Besides that he didn't know of any refuge, or DSR, or revolution alliance.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey gave him a weird look. "...Well, how did you get here? Did someone take you here? Did you come here on your own?" She rubbed the back of her head. "You know, where were you before you ended up here?" Maybe she was wrong, he could have just, you know, snuck in. God knows where he lived before that but even with the improved security, the DSR was pretty bad at doing their job of patroling this place.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
"Woke up here..." Ekket shrugged, carrying the deer along as he made his way towards a crumbling building off to the side of the street. The birdman frowning before answering her next question at a croak. "Don't know... windowless, rock place?.... Clicking machines, pointy things?" The birdman not really sure how to explain since it was still pretty blurry to him, then again the DSR had given him enough sedatives to knock out a dinosaur before carting him here.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey didn't look too impressed with his answer. Well that was helpful. "Right, I'll take that as they just dumped you here then, kinda makes sense if you think about it." She was pretty much dumped on the Reserve herself forever ago, minus the sedatives though, she was a bit of a trouble maker, but one that could be contained enough to transport at least.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Ruffling his feathers, Ekket waddled through the broken down doorway of the crumbling building so he could find somewhere to sit. The birdman not really sure how to respond to her answer as he dumped the deer on the tiled floor as he went back to cutting off strips of deer as he perched on the first step of a staircase.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey simply followed the bird man into the building, looking around to make sure that no one else was living her and that it was safe. It seemed pretty secure so the girl let herself relax. She watched Ekket. "Well you're a very polite eater aren't you?" Hailey chuckled, making a semi disgusted face at the hybrid.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Cawing in response to that, Ekket offered out a strip of deer meat with a chirp, blood and all as he continued to eat poor bambi who laid on the floor, stunned look on it's face as the birdman general savaged the poor thing for food.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey looked at the meat, not really being too disgusted by it, but more confused as to why he thought she'd be okay with eating raw meat. That's when she remembered he was pretty much a wild animal, it kinda made sense to her now. "Sorry pal, I only eat that stuff when it's been cooked at least on the outside, preferably barbequed." She took the strip from him and then threw it in the air, wondering if he'd be able to catch it or not.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Looking confused for a moment, Ekket completely forgot about the response on cooked meat when the piece he offered was tossed into the air. The birdman making a quick leap into the air after it to catch it in one clawed foot, before landing back on the ground. Yeah, he wasn't letting food go to waste at all.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey laughed when he sprung into the air to catch the meat. Honestly, she didn't expect him to actually go for it, but she was glad that he did. "Ahh bravo! That was pretty cool, you used to snatching things out of the sky or something?" She smirked, seating herself down next to him once she had stoped herself from cackling at how funny she thought it was.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Shrugging at the comment on him catching things, Ekket just continued to eat, looking a bit suspiciously towards the other superhuman when they decided to seat down next to him. Yeah even he had personal space issues.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey didn't notice any signs of the bird man being uncomfortable with her being around, instead, she was too busy examining the building they were in. She figured that someone must have been living here not long ago, there was stuff scattered all over the floor, some things were broken and old, while some of it still looked kinda useable. She picked up a small object, curious as to what it was. Hailey pressed a button on the end of it, a small, red beam of light coming out from it and shining on the wall. "Oh, okay that's what it is."

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
As Ekket continued to eat his food, a small red dot appeared on the wall catching his attention making him pause while eating. All his attention focusing on that little red dot as he squawked, leaping off the floor in an attempt to catch the dot, claws digging into the wall... wait where'd it go?

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey cackled loudly, pointing it up onto the roof to see what he'd do then. Man, this was more fun then anything else she could think of doing today. Messing around with mutant animals was always a good way to pass the time. The super covered her mouth with one hand to stop herself snorting and laughing while moving the lazer around in circles on the roof with the other.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Following the laser up to the roof with his eyes, Ekket began to crawl up the wall with his talons, digging the talons into the old drywall as he chased it onto the roof. Seriously what was this thing, he wanted to catch it and find out, maybe it was edible or like something super shiny he could put in his nest.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey stuck her tongue out as she moved the lazer back onto the ground, just below the bird man to see what he'd do next. She had to admit, she was probably never going to get tired of this, it was so amusing to have a giant creature like this one at her full comand. Maybe she could even train him to do backflips or somethign.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Unhooking his claws from the roof, Ekket made a little somersaulting drop onto the floor, landing on the tiles with a thunk as made a grumbling noise. What the hell he'd landed right on it? how come he didn't catch it, damnit get back here shiny thing!

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey covered her mouth to stop herself from cackling any more than she already was before quickly flicking the light to the side, wondering if this was normal behaviour for regular birds or just this guy. She'd have to try this on some normal birds sometime, maybe i'd be a good way to get free food.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Spotting it next to him, Ekket grumbled a chirp, feathers fluffing up as he continued to chase after the little dot of light. No, no, he was going to catch this shiny thing so he could decorate his nest, a must. It was just so shiny. The birdman nearly skittering headfirst into a wall as he chased after it.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey quickly flicked it the other way again, and then simply repeated the process, flicking the lazer back and forth across the floor. You'd think that someone would be tired of this by now, but the red head was still quite amaused by this. She could probably go on for a few more minutes before she started to get bored, or if Ekket realised what the shiny red dot was, that is.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Sprinting along after the little red dot on all fours for a few more minutes, Ekket generally stopped after colliding with a bookshelf. The birdman shaking his head after he'd crashed into it, frowning grumpily as he just sat down and stared at the little red dot, stupid shiny thing...

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
"Awhh c'mon, giving up already?" Hailey teased, still moving the lazer pointer around but she was hiding her hand from Ekket's view with her coat so he wouldn't catch on ( at least not quickly anyway). He looked a little fed up with it now, but animals did that before going at it again usually.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Letting his eyes follow it, Ekket just scowled at the little red dot, earning a grumble from him as he hopped up and went back to the poor mutilated deer that sat by the stairs. Nah, he'd get that stupid thing another time, when it didn't expect it.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey, still smirking at him, turned the lazer pointer off once she realised that he was done with it, for now at least. She'd turn it back on if he started looking for it again. "Oh no, looks like it got away." Hailey sighed, going over and sitting by him again. She wasn't too worried about him, she didn't see any reason as to why she couldn't be closer to the bird man.

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Perching on the stairs, Ekket went back to eating the deer, cutting and tearing off strips with his claws as he generally just grumbled and ate his food. The hybrid eventually deciding that he was done with the deer, to simply lie down on the stairs. He'd fly the deer back up to his nest later once he'd digested the deer.

[ Hailey Bekke | AkaPanuka
Hailey yawned, deciding that she should probably head off in a minute, so she roughly patted the bird man on the back before getting up and stretching. "Well I should probably head off. I can't use playing with an overgrown chicken as an excuse for being gone for so long. You keep your chin up, and make sure you don't eat anyone otherwise I'll probably get the blame."

[ Ekket | Falconicide ]
Grumbling at being patted, Ekket just fluffed up his feathers and made an amusing noise, something that sounded like a chicken clucking almost as he rolled over on the step to go to sleep. The fellow deciding he'd sleep off his meal until he flew the poor dead deer back up to his nest.
Welp Hailey met Ekket and she threw a rock at him. It's the circle of life guys! :D
This rp was so much fun! I think I'm going to like the group, so if anyone wants to meet Ekket shoot me a note!
